It will also feature brand-new national research from CPW, presented by Tracey Bodnarchuk, CPW CEO, and Paige Schoenfeld, SVP, Leger.

An interactive component facilitated by Deloitte designed to collect actionable insights from engaged women, which will be distilled into a national report for policymakers to refer to when making fundamental decisions about the future of Canada’s economy, energy, resources and more.

Kirsten Baker

Partner, National Energy Leader, PwC

Kirsten leads PwC Canada’s Energy practice and brings extensive experience in digital operations within the asset intensive sectors. She is a born and raised Calgarian with deep Alberta roots and is passionate about advancing the Canadian energy sector, one that is sustainable and competitive at a global stage. Kirsten delivers high quality, transformational engagements within the Energy, Utilities and Mining sector. She works with her clients to improve their operations functions, specifically around improved productivity, asset throughput, maintenance improvements and operational excellence. In these situations she takes a business led, technology enabled approach, with a specific focus on sustained value for her clients. In 2020, Kirsten received the Young Women in Energy award, recognizing those that are challenging the status quo and delivering impact within this sector. Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a registered professional engineer (P.Eng) in the province of Alberta.

Tracy Bellingham

Chief Operating Officer, GLJ

Tracy Bellingham joined GLJ in 2004 and has more than twenty years of experience in the energy industry. She has extensive expertise in reserves and resources appraisals, as well as economic evaluations that support corporate governance, regulatory filings, disclosures, financing, and asset transactions in the oil and gas sector. Tracy has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams, managed complex projects, and served as a key liaison with GLJ’s clients, ensuring the highest standards of technical and strategic execution.

Tracey Bodnarchuk

Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Canada Powered by Women

Tracey is the CEO and one of the original founders of Canada Powered by Women. She is a business leader and C-suite executive with more than 20 years of experience, including senior roles with professional services firms Deloitte, KPMG and Norton Rose Fulbright and in technology companies like SAP, J.D. Edwards and Microsoft. She was the CRO at Hopewell Residential and the first-ever Brand Manager at Suncor Energy. Tracey is an alumnus of the Calgary Top 40 Under 40 and an active volunteer who is currently on the board of the Saddledome Foundation and the Alberta Hospice and Palliative Care.

Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, South Bow

Kate brings more than 15 years of experience in governance, law, risk management and sustainability in Canada and abroad. She has spent her career working for and in the Canadian energy sector in a variety of legal and business roles.

A dedicated Calgarian, Kate lends her time to charitable and community initiatives, including acting as co-chair to the Calgary Health Foundation’s Newborns Need campaign, a trustee of the Calgary Health Foundation and member of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Charbonneau Cancer Institute. Previously, she served on the boards of the YWCA of Calgary, Contemporary Calgary and Young Women in Energy.

Kate holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and an Honours B.A. in Economics and Ethics, Society and Law from the University of Toronto.

Alma Hadzic

Alma Hadzic

Alberta Leader, Public Sector Transformation and National Leader, Sustainability & Climate, Deloitte

Alma brings 15+ years of professional services expertise to her current leadership role in the Alberta Public Sector Transformation practice at Deloitte. Additionally, she heads the Economy Growth, Energy & Sustainability Sector for Government and Public Services (GPS) in Alberta, collaborating with the provincial government, Crown Corporations, and ecosystem clients to advance industry diversification, energy transformation, and innovation.

Alma also leads the Sustainability & Climate portfolio within Deloitte’s National Technology, Media, & Telecom (TMT) practice, a pivotal role to assist technology clients in attaining their decarbonization objectives. Notably, Alma led the inception of the Deloitte Cleantech Platform, fostering collaboration with solution providers, industry stakeholders, and governmental bodies to bolster the commercialization and adoption of clean technology.

Her credentials include a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of New Brunswick, a degree in Sustainable Development, Strategic Management, and Human Resource Management and Tourism from L‘École Supérieure de Commerce et de Management (France), and certifications from the MIT Sustainability Accelerator and The Future of Sustainable Business: Enterprise and the Environment (Oxford University, 2023).

Sue Riddell Rose

President and Chief Executive Officer, Rubellite Energy
Sue Riddell Rose is President and Chief Executive Officer of Rubellite Energy. She began her career as a geological engineer with Shell Canada and has over 35 years of experience in the Canadian oil and natural gas industry. She has been a director of Paramount Resources Ltd. since 2000. Sue is also a director of Secure Energy and AltaLink, L.P. Sue is actively involved with several not-for-profit organizations including UNICEF Canada and Canada Powered by Women. Sue is a past Chair of the United Way of Calgary and Area, and Alberta’s Promise.

Paige Schoenfeld

Senior Vice President, Alberta Research Division, Leger
Paige Schoenfeld, based in Calgary, is the Senior VP of Leger’s Alberta Research Division. She’s an experienced researcher with a passion for utilizing qualitative and data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making for a diverse range of clients, including for-profit, non-profit, and government organizations. She also serves as North American representative for ESOMAR, a global member-based research organization that sets ethical standards and guidance for market research worldwide.
